Delta Dental guide for members to create and manage an online account

Learn how to register for an online account and use it to manage your dental benefits.

Why create an account?

With an online account, you can:

To learn more about how to use your account to manage your benefits, visit your plan's welcome page:

How to create your account and log in

  1. From the Log in page, select Create an account
  2. For User Type, select Enrollee/Adult Dependent
  3. Enter your personal information, including your Enrollee ID — you can find this on your welcome letter or email
  4. Set up your username, password and challenge question
  5. Select Register

Now you can log in to your account to get started and review your benefits.

Note: Adult dependents can also create their own account — they'll just need your Enrollee ID to register.

Get an ID card

Looking for your plan ID card? Good news: You don’t need one! Your dental office can look you up with some basic personal information.

Still want an ID card? You can log in to your account and select Get ID card, where you can view or print it. If you'd like to save your ID card to your digital wallet, download the free Delta Dental mobile app. After you sign in to the app, you'll find your ID card on the home screen.

Go paperless

Get your claim statements and other documents online. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your account and select My account
  2. In the Go paperless section, select Online
  3. Save your changes

After you go paperless, you'll receive an email notifying you when a plan document is available so you can log in and view, download or print the document for your records.

Change your address

If you elect to receive claim statements and other documents by mail, the documents are mailed to the primary member's address.

To change your address:

Be sure to update your address with your dental office as well.

Add a family member to your plan

Need to add a dependent to your plan or make other dependent changes?

Manage adult dependents

Per federal HIPAA regulations, protected health information for dependents age 18 and over is not displayed in your account or mailed to you unless your dependent authorizes it by submitting a completed HIPAA authorization form (PDF, 168 KB).

Set up and use autopay

If you purchased your plan directly from Delta Dental and pay your own premium, you can avoid missing a payment by enrolling in autopay.

Log in to your account and select Set up autopay. Depending on your plan, you may have the option to pay monthly, quarterly, semiannually or annually. Accepted payment methods include bank account, credit card or debit card.

To update or cancel autopay, select Manage autopay.
